Top 3 Affiliate Linking Solutions

After successfully register with Clickbank and master with your affiliate link,what should you do next? You must familiar with your affiliate link building because all of your money or sales are depend on that. Without proper technique or strategy to manage and setup your affiliate link, you could loose your commission without even you can notice it. There are 3 familiar linking solutions (also called “affiliate weapons”) that used by me and others especially for promoting clickbank product.

Simple Redirect

The most basic solution for hiding/securing an affiliate link is called a “Simple Redirect”. It makes the link look like a web address on your own site, but as soon as the visitor clicks on the link, they are “redirected” to the sales page, which is shown as normal.

Example: Someone clicking on our “hidden” link:

help_ebooklink

would see the sales page in their browser as normal. In the web address bar on their browser, they may see something like this:

http://www.salessite.com/ebooks/?ref=1234

The drawback is that it’s obvious to the visitor that we used an affiliate link to access the page. It is not obvious to people before they clicked on the link, but it is obvious afterwards. This may in some cases put visitors off buying the product.

Link Cloaking

Link Cloaking also makes the link look like a web address on your own site, but when the visitor clicks on the link, the address of your website is still shown in the web address of the browser, even when the sales page is being shown.

Example: Someone clicking on our “hidden” link:

help_ebooklink

would see the sales page in their browser as normal, but in the web address of their browser, they would still see:

help_ebooklink

More advanced visitors may still realize that this is a cloaked page. However most visitors will be satisfied by this solution.

Covert Linking

This is also sometimes referred to as “page bypassing”.Covert linking allows you to send visitors to any page on any site, while still getting your affiliate commission as normal.This is a powerful stealth tactic and can be used for many things.

For example, where there is a squeeze page in front of the sales page, you can use Covert Linking to bypass the squeeze page, sending visitors directly to the sales page.Why would you want to do this?The original concept of a squeeze page was as a front-end to a quality follow-up autoresponder sequence, with all the emails containing your ID, maximizing your chances of getting paid.

This was a win-win scenario as the affiliate gets a much higher chance of making a sale, while the product owner gets more subscribers.Most reputable marketers offering a major product or service do still do this.However many marketers now just throw up a squeeze page with little or no follow-up, purely to build their own list, with no real benefit to their affiliates.Affiliates just end up building someone else’s list for them.

With Covert Linking, you can bypass these worthless squeeze pages automatically.You can even create your own squeeze page for the product, then send visitors directly to the sales page if you want, effectively replacing the squeeze page with your own.Covert Linking is not limited to bypassing squeeze pages though. You can bypass the whole sales page if you want.If you’ve found a great product which has a weak sales page, you can write your own sales page and then send visitors direct to the order link.You can even send people direct from an article or email straight to the order link – and still get paid your commission.As you can see Covert Linking is a very flexible and powerful tool for affiliate promotion.
